My daughter of seven years had been a great fan of mickey mouse since she was three years old. At that young age, she already had fond of watching mickey mouse movies either thru the cable or thru the dvds that I bought for her. She never got tired of watching those movies and soon she started asking me to buy her mickey mouse memorabilia as well. All of her stuff now mostly consisted of mickey mouse stuff such as utensils, cups, umbrellas, shirts among other things. One mickey mouse that she can not let go however was the mickey mouse beach towel that I gave her on her fifth birthday. She loved her mickey mouse beach towel that she would ever take her bath without it. There were even instances where I would sneak into her room and get the towel to have it cleaned and washed which I had to do fast in time before she wakes up and take her morning bath. After two years of use, the towel already was due for replacement but my daughter still refused to part with her towel and the reason was because of the huge image of mickey that was superimposed over the towel. Since there was nothing more than I can do for her to surrender her towel, my only solution was to have it replaced with a similar towel and luckily the same item was still for sale in the store where I purchased the towel. When I got home, I gave the towel to my daughter as a gift but made a condition that she should already give up the old towel. My daughter did not have any objection and was so happy with her new mickey mouse towel.
